TIRANA, Sept. 8/ATA/ The Republic of Albania and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) signed today in Tirana the loan and guarantee agreement to support the Power Distribution Operator.
The agreement was signed by the Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj, and the First Vice President and Head of Client Services Group at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), Jurgen Rigterink.
Minister Denaj said that, “the 70 million euros in funds will enable Albania’s Electricity Power Distribution System Operator (OSHEE) to build the first modern underground station, the liquidity needed to operate efficiently, as well as to overcome the consequences of the pandemic.”
“The EBRD continues to be an important partner of the Albanian government in the development of the energy and infrastructure sector,”Minister Denaj said. //a.i/
