TIRANA, Sept 8 /ATA/ The police operation “Kryezi” has been successfully finalized after a 4-month investigation.
It resulted in the arrest of 7 people, including the alderman, complicit in the cultivation of narcotic plants in the village of Kryezi, the seizure of 4 firearms, a rifle, ammunition and 11 cell phones.
“After a 4-month investigation under the direction of the Tirana Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office, the forces of police station no. 1 finalized the operation dubbed “Kryezi” which resulted in the arrest and detention of citizens L. C, 55 years old, for the criminal offense
“Cultivation of narcotics” organizer in cultivation of narcotic plants in the territory of Kryezi village; D. H, 34 years old, E.M, 21 years old, K. Gj, 32 years old and Xh.H for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants,” “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosive weapons and ammunition”; A. M, 31 years old, for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”; G. Gj, 36 years old, for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants,” State Police inform.
According to Police sources, these citizens were detained based on the procedural actions and evidence administered have cultivated in the territory of Kryezi village of Tirana district a considerable number of narcotic plants which were uprooted during the police operation.
