TIRANA, Aug 25 /ATA/ In local foreign exchange market, on Wednesday domestic currency lek gained pts versus the US dollar and lost ground versus the European currency euro, compared to the previous day.
According to the official exchange rate of the Bank of Albania, the US dollar depreciated by 0.09 lek and is exchanged at 103.61 lek, while the euro appreciated by 0.06 lek and is exchanged at 121.77 lek.
The British pound, compared to the previous day, dropped to 142.22 lek, recording a decrease of 0.03 lek.
While the Swiss franc is exchanged for 113.50 lek, or 0.14 lek less than the day before. /j.p/sm/
