TIRANA, August 24/ATA/ The Bank of Albania announces that the total real estate loan portfolio for households increased to 137 billion lekë in the first 6 months of the current year.
If compared with the same period last year, this portfolio has expanded by 13.3%.
This growth is about 2.3 times higher than the average expansion of the loan portfolio for the economy during the same period.
“During the first half of 2021, the banking sector in the country has disbursed 19 billion lekë or about 155 million Euros of new home loans, 88% more compared to the same period last year,” said the BoA. /j.p/p.s./
