TIRANA, August 24/ATA/ The Ministry of Defence updated today the fire situation in the country, emphasizing that the situation is difficult in Maja e Rrunës, Malzi administrative unit, Kukës municipality.
According to the ministry, in addition to the Dutch helicopter, there are also 30 troops of the Armed Forces on the ground to extinguish this fire. The situation is problematic at the Black Peak.
There are efforts to extinguish some small fires in the place called Qershizë-Fushë Kumulli in Tërbun Mount, Puka municipality.
There is a fire burning in the village of Kodër Thirrë, administrative unit Fan, municipality of Mirditë.The firefighters continue to keep the fire under control. It does not pose any risk to the residential areas.
The fire in the village of Lundre, municipality of Mat spread due to the wind. The Dutch helicopter, municipal firefighters and forest service workers are working today to put the fire under control, but it poses no danger to dwellings.
In the district of Tirana, the fire in the village of Mengël, the administrative unit of Helmës, the municipality of Kavaja does not pose a danger to inhabited areas, however, in the field, in addition to 40 troops of the Armed Forces, firefighters from Kavaja, Rrogozhina and Tirana are also engaged./k.s/j.p/p.s./
