PRISTINA, Aug 22 /ATA/ – Kosovo’s Ministry of Health, referring to data from the National Institute of Public Health, reported Sunday that 1682 new COVID-19 cases were confirmed after 10.710 samples were tested in last 24 hours.
According to the Public Health Institute, 11 more patients died of COVID-19 complications in the last 24 hours.
A total of 263 more patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of the recovered people to 107.288.
Based on the National Institute of Public Health data there are currently 19.695 active cases in Kosovo.
The Ministry of Health also said that 18. 776 doses of coronavirus vaccines were administered in past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinated people in the country to 707.793.
As many as 236.405 citizens have received both doses of the vaccines.
