PRISTINA, Aug 22 /ATA/ – Kosovo’s Ministry of Health, referring to data from the National Institute of Public Health, reported Sunday that 2279 fresh COVID-19 cases were confirmed after 12.666 samples were tested in last 24 hours.
Eight more people died of COVID-19 complications in the last 24 hours.
A total of 325 more patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of the recovered people to 107.025.
Based on the National Institute of Public Health data there are currently 18.287 active cases in Kosovo.
The Ministry of Health also said that 22. 486 doses of coronavirus vaccines were administered in past 24 hours, bringing the total number of vaccinated people in the country to 687. 553.
As many as 234.731 citizens have received both doses of the vaccines.
