TIRANA, Aug 21 /ATA/ Amid the increase of daily COVID-19 infections, Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, appealed on Saturday to the citizens to get vaccinated against COVID-19.
“The spike in daily infections, hospitalizations and the soaring number of active cases to over 5 thousand COVID-19 cases in the country requires from each of us the responsibility to protect health for ourselves and others, by receiving the jab as soon as possible as well as adhering to the public health protocols which clearly define the measures to be implemented in every setting and event, ” the Minister said.
Manastirliu also reiterated the main measures that citizens should follow to protect health, such as putting on a mask, keeping social distancing and washing hands.
“Use the days of the open vaccination month. Even during the weekend you can receive the jab in the vaccination centers all over the country,”Manastirliu appeals.
