New urban centre in Bubq to complete by autumn

TIRANA, Aug 17 /ATA/ – A new residential complex is taking its final shape in the village of Bubq, Fushë-Krujë municipality, with work to construct housing units for the quake-affected families slated to complete this autumn.

Prime Minister Edi Rama posted Tuesday images showing the ongoing work on construction of the new urban centre, including seven apartment buildings, 78 single-family homes, the community amphitheatre and the new administrative unit building.

The families affected by the devastating earthquake in November 2019 will soon move into the new apartments and single-family homes.

The new residential neighbourhoods in the towns of Thumanë, Fushë-Krujë and Bubq, some of the areas worst hit by the earthquake, are gradually taking their final shape under the ongoing Reconstruction Programme.

Work is underway on three construction sites in Kruje Municipality, where 443 housing units and 360 single-family homes are being built from scratch.
