TIRANA, August 11 /ATA/- State Police officers continue the work of identifying and bringing to justice the perpetrators of the arson attacks in the forests.
Berat regional police arrested 1 citizen and declared another wanted for arson an arson attack in Skrapar.
“Following the investigative work to discover and bring to justice the perpetrators of the arson attacks, the Crime Investigation Specialists at the Skrapar Police Station arrested the citizen M. Ç., 35 years old, resident in Vëndreshë, Skrapar because he is a suspect of the arson attack in the village of Vëndreshë, where a considerable forest and vegetation area was burnt. Likewise, the citizen B. H., 44 years old, resident in Bathore, Tirana, was declared wanted because he is suspected as the perpetrator of the arson in Tomorri Mountain, where as a result a considerable area with pines and pastures was burned”, explained the police.
The police warned that in case of arson attack, everyone caught in the act will face the law. The police invites the citizens to report to the number 112 and the Digital Commissariat, for any case of arson or total illegality, guaranteeing their anonymity and quick and impartial response from the police structures./p.s./
