TIRANA, August 9/ATA/- Tomorri Mountain National Park is located 20-30 km east of the city of Berat and extends over an area of about 4000 ha. It is one of the most frequented destinations in Albania by local and foreign visitors for camping, pilgrimages, trekking.
Berat Regional Administration of Protected Areas reported that many tourists from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Croatia, Slovakia, Germany and even from the Far East, mainly Japan, choose Mount Tomorri among their destinations.
Recently, a group of motorcyclists from the Czech Republic visited the Tomorri Mountain National Park.
The rare beauties offered by the landscape, high peaks, hones, valleys and the immense greenery that makes Mount Tomorri one of the unique mountain tourism destinations, were also visited by a couple of Moroccans and German tourists.
During these hot summer days, a group of tourists from Denmark, accompanied by local tour operators visited this national park with the highest peak 2416 meters.
Meanwhile, the road to Tomorri Mountain is taking shape day by day. It will cut the travel time of the countless visitors to the Holy Peak, but also will open a new perspective for the tourism of this area./p.s./
