TIRANA, August 8 /ATA/- State Police has been engaged during the recent days in identification and arrest of the arsonists.
In Fier, the police arrested 2 citizens who in collaboration with each other set fire to the forest of Gjorgoz village. The investigations also confirmed that these citizens are also the perpetrators of the arson attack in the forest of Kreshpan village.
All evidence was sent to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance Fier for the criminal offense “Destruction of property by fire” committed in collaboration.
In Durrës, the citizen A.B, 49 years old, was arrested in the act of “Destruction of property by fire”. This citizen set fire to a land surface and as a result about 4,000 m of wild reed vegetation was burnt.
While the police of Elbasan arrested in flagrante delicto citizen N.H., 26 years old, resident in the village of Dragot, Belsh.
This citizen is suspected of burning some garbage on his property in the village of Dëshiran, Belsh, but the fire went out of control and as a result 450 olive roots owned by citizens Q.B., and M.Q. were burnt./p.s./
