TIRANA, Aug 6/ATA/ Banking transactions reached ALL 110 billion, at the end of the first 6 months of this year, the Bank of Albania-BoA reported on Friday.
The Bank of Albania said that the average monthly banking transactions in distance is estimated at ALL 94.8 billion, up from ALL 87.1 billion a year earlier.
Banking includes the banking operations that are being executed without the need for the client to physically appear to the bank. The main channels through which these operations are performed are internet banking or mobile banking.
Experts say that the new law on payment services that has entered into force this year is expected to increase the digital payments space. //a.i/
