“Let’s return to nature everything we have taken”, appeals Braçe while speaking about climate change

TIRANA, July 30/ATA/ “We must return to nature everything we have taken”, stated Deputy Prime Minister Erion Braçe while speaking today about the high temperatures of recent days in our country.

“There has been several days with high temperatures of about 40 degrees. When has it ever happened such a hot weather for such a long time in the past? This is the climate change! We have to give back to nature everything we took!” said Braçe.

Otherwise, he warned, “The impact will be great, health, social, economic, for every family, but also for the society!”

“We have to return the land to nature or at least not take it anymore, we have to return to nature the trees, parks, massive forests, we have to return to nature the water, the streams, the rivers. Hundreds of holes have been opened in the river beds so that very, very few people get wealthy! ”, said Braçe.

“If we do not change now, suffering will turn into costs, shortages – including food and water – will turn into war and, because of them, into even greater inequality,” Braçe said.

I know, added the Deputy Prime Minister, “It seems distant now and it may push for carelessness. But, this is how it starts and is approaching much faster than we think!”

“We are doing very well with green energy from the sun; we are doing very well with electric buses and cars. They address the problem of air pollution and its effects on temperatures, health, as well. But, nature loves its elements,” said Braçe.

“Let’s do simpler and less costly things: afforestation! Tirana has green areas today thanks to this!” said Braçe. /r.e/p.s./
