TIRANA, July 27/ATA/ – The Independent Qualification Commission dismissed from office today Prosecutor Daniela Sulaj, who held the position of Inspector at the Office of the High Inspector of Justice.
Following the hearing session that took place on July 23, the trial panel consisting of Roland Ilia, Etleda Çiftja and Pamela Qirko took the decision today.
The panel raised question on wealth of the prosecutor and professionalism.
From December 2007 to February 2021, Sulaj has been Prosecutor at the Prosecutor’s Office of First Instance Tirana. During this period, she has served as a prosecutor in the Minors’ Section, in the Joint Investigation Unit for Economic Crime and Corruption, as well as in the Section against Economic and Financial Crime.
Sulaj started her career in 2004 as a prosecutor in Kavaja Judicial District Prosecutor’s Office. In 2008, she was transferred to the Tirana Prosecutor’s Office./p.s./
