TIRANA, July 23/ATA/ 580 entities and 2827 jobseekers have received support under Employment Promotion Programs in the first 6 months of this year, the Minister of Finance and Economy, Anila Denaj announced on Friday.
Consultative Council of Employment convened today to discuss the progress of policies that are being implemented to promote employment and vocational training.
According to Minister Denaj, 570 million ALL have been provided in the state budget for employment promotion programs 2021.
Employment promotion programs have been designed as part of government support packages for the economic and social recovery caused by the pandemic.
Their goal is the rapid reintegration into the labor market of jobseekers who have become unemployed as a result of COVID-19, avoiding their support through passive support schemes, such as unemployment benefits or economic assistance program.
Also, through financing of unemployment benefits and Social Insurance Mandatory Contributions, programs promote job creation and support companies during the recovery process. //a.i/
