Tabaku: 11.2% of GDP, state debt to PPPs

TIRANA, July 16/ATA/- The elected MP of the Democratic Party Jorida Tabaku stated today that, “The debt that we as a state owe to the Public Private Partnership (PPP) is 11.2% of the GDP”.

In a reaction, Tabaku stated that, “Every Albanian works one hour more at work to pay the Public Private Partnership bill”.

“The study of the Open Data confirms the truth that we have been talking about for years; “11.2% of GDP is the obligation that we as a state have to PPPs”, she said.

Tabaku added that, “Albania is the first in the EU in terms of the cost that each citizen bears for the corrupt heads of government. These are liabilities that amount to over $ 1.8 billion that we have to pay to PPPs or more precisely to government partners. On its part, the government will increase more and more taxes to pay off the debt.”/p.s./
