TIRANA, July 15/ATA/ Education Minister Evis Kushi attended the U.S. embassy event with the people who have benefited from the “Fulbright” academic exchange program.
During the event, there were extended certificates of successful completion of studies.
Kushi appreciated the “Fulbright” an added value promoting cooperation with the strategic partner, the USA, in the field of education, science and research. Kushi also said that it also encourages better qualification of our students and academicians and stimulates joint scientific projects between the two countries.
“Back in Albania, they have the opportunity of making a contribution while applying all gained knowledge and experience in public administration and private companies in our country”, said Kushi.
The Albanian side offers financial support in the amount of 150 thousand Euros annually to support costs of the “Fulbright Student” program aiming at creating more opportunities for students, academic staff and professionals attending this program./k.s/p.s./
