TIRANA, July 13/ATA/ The work on the construction of the Durrës Ecopark, which is being built in the half-century-old dumping ground is nearing completion, the mayor of Durrës, Emirjana Sako said on Tuesday while sharing on the social media images from the construction site of the Ecopark.
“From a dumping ground, this area will be completely transformed, becoming a major economic engine for Durrës,” the mayor Sako stressed.
Ecopark will have a total surface area of about 155 thousand square meters, project will include sports facilities (respectively; 3 basketball courts, 1 mini-soccer field and 2 tennis courts), parking, botanical garden, 28-meter climbing walls, playgrounds, spaces dedicated to sports activities and a bicycle track. //a.i/
