TIRANA, July 12/ATA/ The Dumi family in Vaqarr, Tirana entered their new home, built stronger and better thanks to the reconstruction program.
The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj visited on Monday the Dumi family, where he emphasized that, the government and the municipality are making every effort to complete the reconstruction works on the last houses damaged by the earthquakes.
“People are preparing to go on vacation, while in July-August of this year, the municipal teams will be engaged on the ground to complete asphalt pavement and reconstruction of schools, kindergartens, nurseries expected to open doors in September this year,” Veliaj said.
“Meanwhile, work will continue on the reconstruction of schools in the most urbanized and populated centers of Tirana. 10 new schools will open in the center of Tirana, including the new schools in Don Bosko area, “Vaçe Zela”, “Kristo Frashëri”. The new schools in Koder-Kamza, “Mother Teresa” and “Kenedy”, as well as the new schools “Andrea Stefani”, “Qazim Turdiu”, “Hasan Vogli”,” Veliaj added. //a.i/
