Spiropali: Challenge of third term, professional administration in service of citizens

TIRANA, July 7 /ATA/ Minister of State for Relations with Parliament, Elisa Spiropali, stated on Wednesday that “the Albanian government will remain highly committed to reformation of the public administration up to the standards, to provide high quality services for citizens and businesses, in a transparent and efficient fashion.

But, she said, “at the heart of this challenge lies the necessity for a fully professional administration in the service of the citizen, in respect of the duty and laws of the country, an administration that will be the foundation of European Albania, EU member, in the most literal sense.”

“We will promote an administration of talents and skills, an administration of all those who, either because of their long experience in administration, or thanks to the schools they have completed, demonstrate confidence through the professionalism and written values on which it is built, as well as create spaces where everyone who asks for a service feels protected from injustice “, said the minister.

Referring to the Public Administration Reform, Spiropali said that it “has been and continues to remain a priority of the Albanian government as one of the most important reforms in the framework of Albania’s integration into the European Union, but above all as a cornerstone of the country’s development. ”
