TIRANA, July 3 /ATA/ In January-May 2021, compulsory motor insurance premiums in reached almost ALL 4 billion, or 11.51% more than in the same period of 2020.
In the 5-month period of 2021, the domestic motor third-party liability (MTPL) product marked an increase of 11.04% in the volume of gross written premiums, accompanied by an increase in the number of contracts by 12.31% compared to January-May 2020.
In January-May of 2021, the Green Card product showed an increase of 5.91% in the volume of gross written premiums, accompanied by an increase in the number of contracts by 5.47% compared to January-May 2020.
In the 5-month period of 2021, the Cross Border Insurance Product recorded an increase of 97.86% in the volume of gross written premiums compared to January-May 2020. The number of contracts also increased by 106.29%. //a.i/
