TIRANA, July 2/ATA/The US Ambassador to Albania Yuri Kim said on Friday that, US will continue to support SPAK and NBI as they investigate and prosecute those who abuse their office or wrongly enrich themselves – while impoverishing Albania- through criminal activity
In a reaction to the the mega-operation of SPAK in cooperation with the Italian Anti-Mafia in 4 countries, Albania, Italy, Spain and Montenegro that revealed criminal groups and senior justice officials involved in the crime, the Ambassador Kim said that “Some claim/hope that justice reform has produced “nothing.”
“Some claim/hope that justice reform has produced “nothing.” The truth is that it is producing more and more results that show impunity is ending. Look at today’s major action, which is just the latest blow against corrupt officials and organized crime,” US Ambassador to Albania Yuri Kim said
