TIRANA, June 28/ATA/ Brunilda Lilo has been appointed as the new State Attorney General.
The decision to appoint Lilo to this post has been published in the Official Gazette.
According to the decision, on the proposal of the Prime Minister, the Council of Ministers it was decided the dismissal of Enkelejda Muçaj and the appointment of Brunilda Lilo. Muçaj held the post of the State Attorney General since March 2020.
The State Advocacy is a central institution of public administration, charged exclusively with providing legal assistance.
The purpose of the legal aid provided by the State Advocacy is to represent and defend in court the property interests of the state, to advise central public institutions and public entities, and to mediate in the amicable settlement of conflicts between central administration institutions or public entities. //a.i/
