TIRANA, June 25 /ATA/ The Bank of Albania announced that the loan portfolio for the purchase of housing and real estate extended to households and businesses increased to ALL 238.7 billion on an annual basis.
According to BoA, mortgage for households reached a total value of ALL 131 billion, or about EUR 1.07 billion.
This product already has the main share in the total bank loan portfolio and during the last 12 months (until April 2021) has increased by over 10.2%.
Meanwhile, real estate loan to businesses is growing rapidly, reaching ALL 107.7 billion, an increase of 16% compared to the same period a year ago.
