Speaking about the new investment in this hospital, Manastirliu said that “despite the unprecedented period of the pandemic we have moved ahead with the investments to provide more services to citizens.”
This investment, she said, gives another direction to the hospital as it completes a very important cycle in terms of cardiovascular diseases, where in addition to the hemodynamics service invested several years ago, the cardiac surgery service now performs over 400 operations a year “, said the minister.
Minister Manastirliu emphasized that human resources is the most important, so as part of the initiative “Ready for Albania,” a cardiac surgeon will come from Germany. “He is getting ready to leave a clinic in Germany and join the staff of Shefqet Ndroqi Hospital,” said Manastirliu.
