TIRANA, June 22/ATA/ Yesterday evening at 19:00 hrs in the premises of “Liria” square in the city of Durrës began the “Balkan Folklore Festival”.
This festival featured a great variety of songs and dances from all over the Balkans while the invited groups from the region are united by culture and tradition. The Balkan area is also united by elements of costume design where a thousand years had to pass to change a line.
During the performances, there were noticed the bridges that connect and cross our countries, the interaction of languages and traditions at the borders. These common elements we share are the best evidence of coexistence.
This festival of Balkan folk values has become a tradition in the city of Durrës. Over the years these interactions and displays of the folk values of every country enrich each other by sharing traditional values in this scene of honor.
Last night was described a magical night which had lacked the atmosphere of this city but now everything is returning to normal. /j.p/p.s./
