PRISTINA, June 17 /ATA/ – The epidemiological situation has markedly improved in Kosovo recently.
Based on the National Institute of Public Health data there are currently 186 active cases in Kosovo. No deaths were recorded, while 15 fresh COVID-19 cases were confirmed after 1713 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
No coronavirus-related fatalities were reported in last 24 hours and a total of 2,250 citizens have died of COVID-19 complications since start of pandemic in early March 2020. In the meantime, 67 more patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of the recovered people to 105,174.
A total of 7492 COVID-19 vaccine doses were administered in past 24 hours, and a total of 110,097 people countrywide have been vaccinated since the launch of the immunisation campaign.
As many as 13.149 citizens have received the second dose of the coronavirus vaccines.
