TIRANA, June 9 /ATA/ The Tax Administration has launched from January 1 of the current year the reform of the fiscalization process. This is expected to have a positive effect on the entire economy of the country, but especially on businesses, as the automated exchange of electronic invoices cuts time and is more certain.
All taxpayers who issue invoices with or without VAT will be subject to the reformed Fiscalization process.
General Director of Tax Office Delina Ibrahimaj explained the taxpayers that should be taxed. It stated that entities in public bodies, banks, non-bank financial institutions and all other entities that provide electronic invoicing services should be taxed.
Ibrahimaj emphasized that, “The novelty is the fact that transport tickets, foreign currency exchange coupons, or insurance policies will from now on be electronic invoices”.
“All taxpayers should contact the tax administration for any ambiguity,” she said. /a.a/p.s./
