TIRANA, June 8/ATA/ The Albania’s Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Milva Ekonomi visited on Tuesday the center of collection, storage, distribution and export of fruits and vegetables “Doni Fruits” in Lushnja.
“Thanks to the private initiative, but also supported through the IPARD program, this investment is approximately estimated at 8.5 million euros, having an indisputable impact on increase of agricultural production in the area, increase of exports of agricultural products and generation of income for about 6 thousand people,” Minister Ekonomi said.
The representative of the “Doni Fruits” company informs that every product exported from this collection point is first analyzed by the ordering companies to continue then the shipment.
“Doni Fruits” owner said that,”the collection point capacity has increased by 15% compared to last year, while adding that the company has planned to further increase its capacity.” //a.i/
