TIRANA, June 8 /ATA/ The incumbent chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha held meetings today with his supporters of branches 6 and 16 in Tirana and his supporters in Shijak.
During the meeting in Tirana, Basha said that, “Never before in 30 years of democracy with all its crises, the scale of electoral massacres has not been such as that of April 25. The evil consists of vote buying, violence, blackmail, intimidation, the resumption of state security practices through theft and use of personal data.”
“On April 25, through these mechanisms, the aspiration of the vast majority of Albanians for change was temporarily stopped,” said Basha.
“Just like in March 31, 1991, on April 25 were held elections without a solution,” said Basha.
While in the meeting with the democrats of Shijak, Basha said that, “Here in Shijak the confrontation has been the same like in all of Albania, with the phenomenon of the state becoming one with the party.
