TIRANA, June 7 /ATA/ The National Inspectorate of Territorial Protection started on Monday in Velipoja and Ksamil the operation for dismantling the unauthorized constructions along the coastline.
“Our coast” operation is designed to clear our coastline of unauthorized constructions.
The identification of these constructions has already completed and the state structures have notified the relevant entities.
In parallel with announcement of the subjects, the operation has been coordinated with the legalization office to curb the legalization of all identified objects.
In addition to unauthorized “beach bars,” the operation will focus on sustainable concrete constructions and will extend along the entire coast.
This is considered as the first phase of the operation and after the tourist season, in September, the operation will continue with those constructions that are impossible to be legalized due to their nature.
1 week ago, Prime Minister Edi Rama appealed to law transgressors to raze to the ground and clear what they have built without permission to the detriment of the people’s property, because when faced with the full force of “Our Coast” operation it will be very late for them.
