TIRANA, June 4 /ATA/ Pursuant to the new law “On compulsory insurance in the transport sector”, the Financial Supervision Authority-FSA has drafted the regulation “On the manner of administration and payment of claims ‘Compensation Fund’ with the date of the accident before the entry into force of law no. 32/2021 ”.
This document will be subject to a public consultation procedure before being approved by the FSA Board.
This draft regulation defines the rules of administration and payment of internships, object of the Compensation Fund, with the date of the accident before the entry into force of the law “On compulsory insurance in the transport sector”.
All compensation claims with date of the accident before the entry into force of the law “On compulsory insurance in the transport sector” are being handled, paid and reimbursed by the Albanian Insurance Bureau according to the legislation in force on the date of the accident.
Whereas, compensation claims with the date of the accident after July 1, 2021 are being handled, paid and reimbursed according to the provisions of the law, “On compulsory insurance in the transport sector.” //a.i/
