Basha: April 25 electoral massacre increased troubles of Albanians; our duty is to give a solution

TIRANA, June 2 / ATA/ The incumbent Chairman of the Democratic Party in opposition Lulzim Basha held today a meeting with the followers of his party in Kamza, Vora and administrative unit No 11 in Tirana.

Speaking of the April 25 elections, Basha said it was an unequal battle.

“We knew that it would have been unfair from the beginning, regardless of the law or the Electoral Code, but there happened an electoral massacre which seemed to be like a return to the period of party-state rule some 30 years ago”, said Basha.

Basha accused the Socialist Prime Minister Edi Rama of having set in motion a gigantic machine of violence, terror, blackmail of buying and selling votes in all forms and ways, with cash, with social assistance, with fines, with legalizations in exchange for votes, with direct pressure on public sector employees.

Basha also met with the supporters of his party in Vora.

He stated that, “The Democratic Party emerged from this battle stronger and bigger because it is a party of values, a party for Albanians .

Basha also met with party followers in Unit No 11 in Tirana./p.s./
