TIRANA, June 1 /ATA/ / Director of National Emergency, Skënder Brataj, said on Tuesday that ” COVID-19 is less likely to be transmitted now than during the months of the pandemic.”
In a televised interview, Brataj said that “I am happy with the fact that the vaccination rollout continues apace, we have hit the mark of 800 thousand vaccinations and aim to go to 1 million vaccinations. I am very happy with the fact that there were no fatalities in re-infection cases.”
“The measures will be lifted soon, they are being relaxed, they are not being tightened. It is the outset of the final. There are still COVID cases and fatalities. In 37 patients, 7 are in intensive care which means they come to the hospital in severe condition. It means that there are other sick people at home, “ – said Brataj
Brataj appealed to the citizens not to let their guard down.
Regarding the new measures, Brataj said that “on June 15, the limit will change from 10 people to 50, but the bars must comply with the measures.”
