TIRANA, May 31/ATA/The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly, Vasilika Hysi greeted the sixth international scientific conference “Extreme phenomena of nature and security issues” held today at the premises of the Security Academy.
In her remarks, Hysi expressed her appreciation of the Security Academy staff dedication and research on important topics.
Hysi considered climate change a threat to global and national security and that in this regard scientific studies by independent experts and institutions were of great importance.
The Deputy Speaker of the Assembly further emphasized that, “sustainable economic development in a sustainable environment is also the commitment of the Albanian state in the light of the Sustainable Development Objectives 2030.” //a.i/
