TIRANA, May 30 /ATA/ The incumbent Chairman of the Democratic Party Lulzim Basha stated today during a meeting with party supporters in Dibra that, “June 25 elections didn’t have any relation with democracy”.
Basha described the elections as an electoral massacre.
He said that the DP was aware of entering a race that was quite unequal, but, “we had confidence that getting united around our values would inspire a wave of change.”
Basha compared these elections with 1991 when the DP had only a moral influence.
Therefore, he considered the electoral massacre quite unacceptable.
Basha suggested no compromise, but a struggle against the evil up to the end./m.m/j.p/p.s./
