TIRANA, May 24/ATA/- The next Census of Agriculture, scheduled to be conducted in Albania in 2022, implementing the recommendations of the World Program for Census of Agriculture 2020 will be postponed until 2024.
The performance of the Agricultural Census is closely related to the results of the Population and Housing Census, as the data obtained from the agriculture module in the questionnaire enable the construction of a new selection base for the Agricultural Census.
The preparatory phase of the Census of Agriculture is affected in terms of time and logistics by the Census of Population and Housing, which will take place in October 2022. On this basis, in order to fully engage in all technical and operational aspects INSTAT is forced to postpone the Census of Agriculture until 2024. //a.i/
