TIRANA, May 21/ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama posted today images from Fier bypass and praised the significance of its construction for all those who choose to visit the south areas of the country.
“A beautiful weekend for those who choose Vlora from now on, with a new panoramic axis like Fier bypass that has cut the distance to the sea”, said Rama.
Fier bypass was opened in the middle of June last year and is a very important segment that enables access to the south of the country in a faster time.
This bypass with 22 kilometers-length meets all road safety requirements for all drivers. It is a category B bypass, extra urban, which has a speed limit of 120 kilometers.
Meanwhile, work is continuing at a fast pace in Vlora bypass.
Three bridges have been built along Fier bypass segment, that of Seman, Hoxhara and Pojan with a length of 80 m each. Also, 4 two-level intersections, two half-intersections, 7 overpasses and 21 underpasses have been built.
From the calculations, it results that the time saving for road users in normal periods of traffic is 35 minutes. /a.a/p.s./
