TIRANA, May 14/ATA/- The State Police announced on Friday that, the anti-drug operation codenamed “Baron” has been finalized.
The operation was carried out by the Narcotics Investigation Section at Tirana Local Police Directorate during which 1 kilogram and 88 grams of cocaine have been seized.
Police reported that, following the operation three people have been handcuffed.
Under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, work continues to identify and apprehend other persons involved in this criminal activity.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District for further actions on the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics” committed in collaboration. //a.i/
