TIRANA, May 13/ATA/ The government of Albania approved several changes to decision on collection weapons.
The weapons should be registered as objects of cultural heritage at the National Institute of Registration of Cultural Heritage.
The decision also clarifies that the person gets a certificate from the State Police on the weapon.
The collector has also to make an application to the online platform with all documents attached.
The import and export of the collection weapons is realized through issuing of relevant license on import/export of cultural heritage.
Meanwhile, buying and selling of the collection weapons declared cultural heritage is subject to government procedures.
The transport of these weapons is also done according to approved procedures. The deactivation of collection weapons is done according to approved procedures by licensed persons from the State Police. The Ministry of Interior is in charge of implementation of the government decision./j.p/r.e/p.s./
