TIRANA, May 6 /ATA/ – The Ministry of Health reported Thursday that 2818 tests were conducted and 91 people tested positive for the Sars- Cov2 in the past 24 hours in Albania.
A total of 894 more patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of recovered coronavirus patients to 114, 362 since the novel coronavirus outbreak in early March.
As many as 111 patients are currently being treated at the COVID-designated hospitals, with 17 of them being treated at intensive care units and six patients are intubated.
Three more patients died of COVID-19 disease complications in the past 24 hours.
The Ministry of Health appealed to everyone not to ignore any symptoms of the disease and instead they visit the family doctor in order to undergo test and receive due treatment for free.
The Ministry called on citizens to immediately dial the emergency line 127 if suspecting of any COVID-19 symptoms or the green line 0800 40 40 to contact family doctor for the psychological service.
