TIRANA, May 1 /ATA/- The biggest US Army-led Defender-Europe 21 multinational military exercise, involving up to 28,000 troops from 26 allies and partner countries, is to take place at seven military bases in Albania.
The Ministry of Defence said that the “Defender 21”exercises will run from May 4 to June 9.
Albania is one of the 16 countries hosting these large-scale exercises focused on deterring aggression. Albanian Armed Forces will be represented by around 100 troops.
Meanwhile, 28.000 multinational troops will involve in exercises simultaneously in more than 30 training sites in countries.
