PRISTINA, April 29 /ATA/ – A total of 104, 717 have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the outbreak in early March in Kosovo, when the county confirmed its two first COVID-19 cases.
According to data from Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health, as many as 2 153 people have died so far from the COVID-19 outbreak.
Number of fresh COVID-19 cases has dropped in recent days, while there are currently 9,485 active cases in Kosovo.
Kosovo’s National Institute of Public Health reported that 327 fresh COVID-19 cases were confirmed after 3104 samples were tested in the past 24 hours.
Five more patients died of the complications from the COVID-19 disease in the last 24 hours.
As many as 508 more patients have recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total of the recovered people to 93,079.
