TIRANA, April 29/ATA/ “Ilir Meta is out of any kind of configuration and the Parliament of Albania will deal with him, because the people condemned Meta and the Parliament will formalize the sentence. He is condemned by the Albanian people”, said today in a television interview Prime Minister Edi Rama.
“This is the Parliament of Albania and Meta has been condemned by the people in the most spectacular way. He demanded a referendum,” he continued.
PM Rama said that Meta lost the referendum he requested and now the Assembly will formalize his removal.
“Ilir Meta has been condemned like no other in the history of pluralism by the Albanian people. He has provoked, he has put shame on this people, no one has disgraced the Albanian people like Ilir Meta did. If the DP will continue with Ilir Meta, if the DP will take a stand against the formalization of the sentence by Ilir Meta, we shall see”, Rama continued.
“I think that SMI belongs to another category. I am talking here about the Albanian opposition, with the Democratic Party of Albania. It is in the spirit and if the spirit is positive, then let us sit down and build the principles of a partnership, cooperation, as we like to call it. Meta is out of any kind of configuration and the Albanian Parliament will deal with him”, he stressed./j.p/p.s./
