TIRANA, April 25 /ATA/ Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today in a press conference from the headquarters of the Socialist Party, that, “The people had its say and the votes are in the box”, while emphasizing that Albania should emerge victorious from this process and not the party that will continue to govern the country ”.
“This is beyond the program because for the first time in Albania Exit Polls are held. It has been a distant experience and I want to cordially thank all those who are committed to introducing this new experience in Albania and at the same time I want to tell everyone in the first place the socialists that the votes are in the box. The people have spoken, now we must listen to the people,” he said.
Rama said that, “Our task, of every vote teller and every observer in every counting center is to contribute with the highest civic responsibility to count correctly the votes that are in the boxes”.
“The conjectures, the polls, the Exit Poll, despite the fact that they give us governing power, still belong simply and only to the predictions before the match. Now, it is the result of all the ballot boxes,” he added.
“Please everyone, focus on your task and I repeat what Bora said before on my behalf, a heartfelt thank you to all the patronage workers who have done an impressive job. They know better than everyone else who voted and who did not vote, and given that in their areas they are convinced of the result of their work,” Rama added./m.m/j.p/p.s./
