TIRANA, April 23 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama opened the final election campaign rally in Vlora with Kira, a 18-year old girl and a first-time voter in the Sunday’s general elections.
Kiara was 10 when Prime Minister Edi Rama pledged Vlora’s radical transformation in an election campaign meeting eight years ago.
A video recorded nine years ago was screened tonight, with PM Rama saying: “The first post-campaign day I would be communicating and talking with you will be the day to tell you that when Kiara turns 18 and vote for first time, we will have radically transformed Vlora.”
In his remarks after the video screening, PM Rama said that what he had pledged years ago is the transformed reality in the eyes of Kiara and everyone else.
In her remarks, Kiara said that Vlora’s transformation speaks for itself.
“We can all see with our own eyes how Vlora and whole Albania has been transformed under PM Rama’s leadership and under the Socialist Party’s government. We will vote for SP in April 25,” Kiara said.
