TIRANA, April 22 /ATA/ – Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that, “Albania on April 25 will face a test of character and Albanians will have to decide which side they will be on the 26th”
Rama said that, “April 25 is the day, not to share our pleasures, but to gather all our dissatisfaction and to tell ourselves and each other that there is every reason to be dissatisfied with what we have done so far. We are the ones who with the power of our resentments will climb higher, no matter how difficult, no matter how tedious, no matter how challenging. Because this is our mission and this is our time.”
“Many people ask why does Edi Rama want the third term. In fact, I know that whoever that does not believe will never believe, but the third mandate is not for me; the third mandate is to finally repel that curse of our history, which always appears to Albanians in critical moments in the form of different characters and seduces them towards the easy ways, but that costs them dearly”, said Rama.
“The third mandate is the mandate that will seal once and for good that what happened yesterday in Elbasan and all that convoy that reappeared in the life of Albanians will never appear again. There will never be politicians who can take it upon themselves to become the couriers of that curse.”/p.s./
