“Pensioners are the biggest beneficiaries of e-Albania. They no longer wait in line at the offices of the Social Insurance Institute because the application for pension and any other certificate is done in e-Albania,” General Director of NISA, Linda Karçanaj said, while announcing the numbers of pension applications and documents that e-Albania has saved to the pensioners.
“468,631 online applications only for SII services in e-Albania, of which 74,240 applications only for pension, from January 1, 2020. 816,640 documents have been generated by the administration itself thanks to digitization of pension applications. Now, thanks to the platform to apply for a retirement pension, the pensioner needs 3 documents, out of 14 needed earlier,” Karçanaj said.
