PRISTINA, April 19 /ATA/- The National Institute of Public Health of Kosovo (NIPHK) reported on Sunday 11 deaths due to infection with the corona virus. And since March 22 last year when the first death was reported, and until now, there are 2,072 people who have died as a result of coronavirus infection.
Since March 13, 2020, there are 101,517 infected with this virus.
During the last 24 hours, in the Laboratory of Molecular Microbiology in NIPHK and private laboratories with RT-PCR method, as well as public and private laboratories with RAT method, were tested a total of 3,501 samples taken from HUCSK and tracking of case contacts in the field , of which 364 cases resulted positive. The total number of positive cases is 101,517 cases out of 500,112 people suspected of being infected with the SARS-CoV-2 virus and 2,072 deaths. During the last 24 hours, 529 patients have been cured, while the total number of cured to date is a total of 87,012 cases and the number of active cases is 12,433 ”, it is stated in the last report of NIPHK.
Most positive cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Municipality of Pristina./p.s./
